RECOVERY:
The Green Bay Coated Products
Division of Green Bay Packaging with the assistance of an outside waste
converter initiated a program in 2003 to convert unrecyclable pressure
sensitive roll label stock into supplemental fuel pellets for energy recovery. Since
the inception of this program, approximately 300 tons per month of solid waste
has been diverted from the landfill and used in energy recovery.
