GOVERNOR'S AWARD FOR
EXCELLENCE IN ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE:
Green Bay Packaging Inc. -
Green Bay Coated Products Division was recognized by the Wisconsin Department
of Commerce and the Federation of Environmental Technologists with the annual
Governor's Award for leadership in environmental performance for its project to
convert previously landfilled unrecyclable pressure sensitive roll label stock
into supplemental fuel pellets for energy recovery.

BUSINESS RECYCLING AND WASTE MINIMIZATION AWARD:
Green Bay Packaging Inc. -
Green Bay Coated Products Division was present with the Brown County and Green
Bay Area Chamber of Commerce award for recycling and waste minimization for its
2003 project to convert unrecyclable pressure sensitive roll label stock into
supplemental fuel pellets for energy recovery and simultaneously reduce the
need for land-filling.
TAG AND LABEL MANUFACTURERS INSTITUTE ENVIRONMENTAL AWARD FOR INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY:
Green Bay Packaging Inc. -
Green Bay Coated Products Division was presented with the Tag and Label
Manufacturers Environmental Award for Innovative Technology for its project to
convert unrecyclable pressure sensitive roll label stock into supplemental fuel
pellets for energy recovery. Since the inception of this program,
approximately 300 tons per month of solid waste has been diverted from the
landfill and used in energy recovery.
