RECOVERY:
Presently, Green Bay Packaging's Arkansas mill operations purchase wood wastes
from numerous outside sources for energy production, plus the wood wastes from
the company owned lumber production facility that was constructed in 1973, to
maximize the utilization of the area wood source. Approximately 315,000 tons of
wood wastes annually are utilized for energy production by the Arkansas facility, thereby precluding the landfilling of said waste.
