CLOSED PROCESS WATER
SYSTEM:
In September 2003, the Green Bay Mill achieved its eleventh year without any
direct discharge of process wastewater to the Fox River. The process water
system utilized at this mill has been closed since numerous innovative actions
were completed in September of 1992.
CERTIFICATE OF
EXCELLENCE:
The El Paso Division of Green Bay Packaging Inc. was presented with a
Certificate of Excellence by the El Paso Water Utility for outstanding
performance in environmental compliance. The award acknowledged the Division's
achievement of 100% compliance with pretreatment regulations for the two
previous years.
